After two years of intensive preparations, the SQS certificate was handed over to Securiton on 16 November 1992. This award, which is highly sought after in industry in particular, will improve Securiton’s resilience and recognition in the face of increasing competition, both in Switzerland and on the export markets.
What does SQS certification actually mean? It certifies that the company in question has a quality assurance system that corresponds to internationally applicable standards. The currently valid standard is ISO 9001/EN 29001 and covers all areas. It is divided into 20 subject areas, ranging from senior management responsibility and the quality assurance system to contract review, design control, procurement, process control in production and assembly, training, customer service and more.
In order to be able to carry out this ambitious project, Robert Kunz was appointed as full-time project manager. He was supported by a team of nine others. The baptism of fire was successfully passed with the handover of the certificate by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems.
