Geneva and Lausanne 31.10.2023 & 09.11.2023
We end Securiton's anniversary year with the Late Afternoon Symposia in Geneva and Lausanne. Over 100 guests joined the Securiton journey through time to "Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow" at the Geneva Marriott Hotel and the Royal Savoy Hotel in Lausanne.
Together with our experts Loris Strangis, Marc Neuenschwander and Markus Reinhart, Martin Altorfer provided insights into the past and future of Securiton and the security industry. This time, Lea Sprunger provided inspiring sporting insights. The European 400m hurdles champion shared her impressive journey to the top and what has changed since she retired from professional sport. Isabelle Musy, sports journalist at RTS, hosted the evening with aplomb.
During the aperitif that followed, the guests discussed history, sporting goals and successes as well as the importance of teams.
Lugano 28.09.2023
The third Late Aternoon Symposium on the topic of "Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow" was held at the Villa Sassa in Lugano with over 70 people in attendance.
CEO Martin Altorfer opened the event with a review of Securiton's 75-year corporate history and provided information on current topics and trends. Michel Bettera, Group Head of Project Management, took the participants on a journey from the origins to innovations in product and technology development. After a short break, Elena Roos, world and European champion in orienteering, presented her personal perspective on "Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow". The event was accompanied and moderated by Julie Arlin, presenter for Swiss television RSI.
The closing with an aperitif took place in summery temperatures on the terrace with a view of Lago di Lugano and was enriched by various customer interviews.
Dübendorf and Solothurn 07.09.2023 & 12.09.2023
More than 150 people were inspired by Martin Altorfer, Beat Salzmann and Nicola Spirig at EMPA Dübendorf and “Altes Spital” in Solothurn. CEO Martin Altorfer began with a journey back in time through Securiton's corporate history and ventured an outlook on current topics and trends. Head of Division Beat Salzmann looked at innovations in product and technology development and provided a few "aha" moments here and there. After a short break, Olympic champion Nicola Spirig gave a glimpse into her personal "Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow". The triathlete shared her path to the top of the world and the importance of goal setting, motivation, the right team and trusting partnerships. Janine Geigele moderated the evening.
Thanks to the summer temperatures, the concluding aperitif took place partly outdoors and allowed for long and lively conversations.
Throughout Switzerland 03.05.2023 - 22.06.2023
Following a break of several years, May and June 2023 finally witnessed the return of the “Tour de Suisse” employee information event at Securiton locations throughout Switzerland. In his new role as CEO, Martin Altorfer provided updates on the course of business and news from Securiton’s organisational units. He was accompanied by HR Manager Agnes Keller, who presented Securiton’s new HR organisation as well as the HR advisers with responsibility for the respective offices.
Alongside the opportunity to meet face-to-face, there was another cause for celebration: Securiton’s 75th anniversary. The main focus of the anniversary celebrations was personal encounters in a family setting. In addition to the employees, two of the events were attended by guests from the ownership family as well as members of the group executive board, the executive boards of group companies, and colleagues from IG TUS.
During the anniversary celebrations, employees and guests learned about the history and development of Securiton and its offices. Those present had a chance to test their speed, knowledge and assessment skills in a 10-question quiz, with winners going home with one of three vouchers. During the aperitif and dinner following each information event, attendees were in an ebullient mood as they discussed past events in the company and shared memories. A big thank you to all the employees and guests for making the events an experience to remember!
Grindelwald 14.03.2023 - 15.03.2023
After a long four-year break, Securiton hosted an International Sales Meeting in March 2023. Around 180 participants from over 40 countries travelled to Grindelwald for three days. The varied programme included general news from Securiton and the Swiss Securitas Group, an overview of current and planned marketing activities, success stories from all countries and the latest product developments. Things got festive during the presentation of the popular partner certificates and the 75th anniversary of the company also provided an appropriate setting. In addition to the many informative programme points, our guests were also enthusiastic about the professional exchange and the alpine supporting programme. We are looking forward to the next International Sales Meeting!
