Reliability, complexity and ease of use – the holy trinity of requirements for modern security systems is now also available for small and medium-sized alarm systems. This is thanks to the new SLS-Compact security management system, the smaller brother of the SLS-Pro®.
Clearly structured information in the event of an alarm is also possible with SLS-Compact. It enables all fire and intrusion alarm systems from Securiton, Hekatron and Schrack to be combined using a uniform PC graphic interface. SLS-Compact thus allows central alarm processing as well as standardised remote control of all connected security systems. As with SLS-Pro®, the alarms and user interventions can be stored in a history database for subsequent evaluation.
The user interface of the SLS-Pro® has been further simplified for SLS-Compact. Alarms and data points are visualised with dynamic zones or icons in freely definable floor plans or system images without any other action needed. Specific intervention texts can be assigned to each data point so that even inexperienced operators are also able to initiate the correct measures in the event of an alarm.
Convenient and safe operation of alarm systems
SLS-Compact is a single-user system. Nevertheless, up to eight security systems as well as a protocol printer and portable printer can be connected. Unlike SLS-Pro®, it is not equipped for the integration of video and access control systems. However, this makes the connection of subsystems and configuration on the SLS-Compact much easier. Together with the fact that it is also extremely easy to install and operate, these are the main advantages of SLS-Compact.
In fact, brief instruction on dialogue operation is all that is needed in order to understand and operate alarm processing for the various security systems. Because the configuration data can be transferred directly from the subsystems, the basic data can be automatically configured on the SLS-Compact. If desired, this data can be supplemented with additional notices such as measure texts or graphical representations for immediate visualisation.
